Cgm-4 boiler

in Gas Heating
I'm work on a Weil McLain Cgm-4 it's about 30 years old. I installed a new gas valve b/c it was sticking open when the power pile was not hot. Changed the gas valve and the power pile and it fired up and run up to temp and shut off like it should. The temp went down and never fired back up. Messed with it the only way I could get it to fire back up was to turn off the on/off switch and turned it back on and it fired back up. Hmmm? Any ideas? What is the swing on the temp on the control.

What do you have for a relay
on the boiler? Did you take millivolt readings on the powerpile system? If so what were your readings? What was the number of the valve you removed and what are the numbers of the one you installed?0 -
