Janitrol Automatic pilot

in Gas Heating
Our very old hot water system has a pilot control made by Janitrol/Surface Combustion. It sends an electrical signal confirming the pilot is lit to a controller that opens the gas valve. The type designation is X O. It has apparently died, as bypassing it allows the boiler to fire. See picture attached.
Anybody know if there is a modern replacement part available? Or if there are any originals floating around?

Does it
Have a thermocouple attached to it? If it does you can still get a BASO control.0 -
That pilot is obsolete and
no longer available. You would have to d a complete changeover which is not cheap and requires someone with experience at doing such things. Sound like it is time to replace the old boiler.0 -
Thanks
Thanks, I appreciate the input. I assumed that would be the case, so we are already moving that direction. Sure hate to see the old boiler go, it had a good long run.0
