4 zone switching relay or 6 zone switching relay

I will have 3 heating zones, a indirect water heater and a central air for cooling. Just wondering which switching relay control box I should buy, 4-zone or 6-zone?

alpine?
I assume you are working with the alpine from your earlier post.
Your DHW should be controlled by the boiler with it's own circ.
The AC is a completely different system.
That leaves you with 3 zones. I would use one ecm circ and zone valves. Either way you are only controlling 3 things so you don't need a 6 zone controller.

I always added a spare, for future expansion or if one relay failed. So a 4 zone would be my "final choice"
Some of the brands give you multiple relays for 3 pumps, this is nice if you are using a hydro sep, or p/s, and DHW priority.Bob "hot rod" Rohr
