i recently purchase a Danfoss TRV, i have 1 steam system. this is the trv i bought

<a href="http://na.heating.danfoss.com/PCMPDF/013R9356_VI51T622_standard.pdf">http://na.heating.danfoss.com/PCMPDF/013R9356_VI51T622_standard.pdf</a>

after installation tvr doesn't seem to shutoff or turn on the radiator. i read that this tvr will only work with

"The boiler must operate on a reset control. It must shut off and the boiler pressure must go to zero. If the boiler just cycles on pressure, they will not work."

is that right? how do you tell if you have such a boiler?

thanks

    Sorry to say this

but the valve you had listed in your reference is the one for two pipe steam.  One pipe steam cannot be controlled at the valve, but must be controlled at the vent.  What you need is very similar, but intended for the vent, not the valve.  The Danfoss RA 2000 1PS is one such, and is connected between the radiator and the vent.
