Reset button?
Look for a reset button somewhere on or in it. A call to tech support might give you the information.
Could the thermostat have been exposed to a static electricity shock when you were changing the settings?--NBC0 -
probably toast
Had a Rite Temp (name?)that did something similar but not to that degree. Assumed it was the underlying cheap chinese board as pushing on the screen would sometimes fix it. Towards the end the thermostat started doing all kind of craziness and would not consistently fire the boiler and often the screen was be similar to yours with ghost images everywhere.0 -

It is probably toast but try removing it from the wires and then remove the batteries for ten minutes. then reinstall the batteries.0
