wiring a tekmar 519 tstat to sr506

The problem I am having is that according to the manual, I need 4 wires, 2 for power(C and R) to the 24v on the taco, and 2 (Rh and W) for the on/of, and I only have 18/3 wire coming out of the wall.
Is there a way to wire the tstat without having to run new wire?
Thanks in advance

i would imagine..
....you could put a jumper from the R terminal to to the Rh?Contact John "JohnNY" Cataneo, NYC Master Plumber, Lic 1784

I tried that
And it got power to the unit but the circulator would not run on a heat call. The tstat showed a heat call but the circulator would not run.0 -
hmmm
If the light shows the call for heat at that zone, then the relay has pulled in. There's something else wrong. It's not your thermostat wiring. Check for 120v across your pump terminals. If you don't have it, swap out the corresponding ice cube relay with another one in the 506. See if that brings power to your terminals.Contact John "JohnNY" Cataneo, NYC Master Plumber, Lic 1784

The light on the relay
Does not turn on. The thermostat says "heat on" but the relay light is not on. When i hook my 2 wire wirsbo tstat back up, all works on a heat call.. If i jump wire from the 24 v to the T on the relay, the circulator kicks on.0 -
Interesting.
In that case, you're right, there's an issue with the thermostat.
I'm looking at the manual, like you are I'm assuming, and every diagram aside from the switching relay installation uses a jumper to power R -Rh.

No idea why yours isn't working. It looks like it should. I wonder if there's not an internal error in your 519.Contact John "JohnNY" Cataneo, NYC Master Plumber, Lic 1784

Commons
That detail should work for you. The drawing on the bottom of page 9 of 16.
Are you tying the commons back together in the mechanical?
Instead of going too 7 and 2 on the 003, go to R and W.
Hope that makes sense, The t-stat control and the sr506 relay both need a common to work correctly.
