My Furnace Won't Stay On

in Gas Heating
Hey all, my furnace won't stay on. It is a really old gas conversion burner. The pilot will light and the furnace lights when I turn it to on but after about a minute it goes out, pilot and all. It's like the gas is getting shut off. Any ideas, it's snowing here right now and I need some heat.

Thermocouple
The thermocouple may need to be cleaned or replaced. It could also be a flame rod but I doubt it with an old conversion setup.

What is the make and
model number of the conversion burner. Some had thermocouples others had powerpile self generating systems. Both systems procedures for troubleshooting are found above by clicking resources, the library and look for Tim McElwains Closet.0
