I'm in the process of adding 2 more zones to my 1 zone heat. Currently I have 1 circulator pump in line. I am going to remove the pump and add a 3 zone cast iron header. Can I mount the header vertical and have the circulators horizontal or do I need to mount the header horizontal??

Motor Shaft
The motor shaft of the circ must be horizontal. It doesn't matter if it pumps vertically or horizontally.
You achieve this by removing the 4 screws that hold the motor to the pump housing and rotating it 90*, if necessary.Bob Boan
You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.0 -
