    Nest

What type of boiler and controls are you working with?

Is the system radiant or base board? What type?

    Reset

How low are you trying to go? You could put a simple reset controller on the boiler, but you cannot lower it to where it will condense. The lowest would be around 150. If you want to go lower you need a condensing boiler or a mixing loop.

Either way, the nest is controlling the room temp and a separate controller is doing the outdoor reset.

    You can....

probably add something like a Taco SR501-OR to the boiler which will give the outdoor reset, and also just install the Nest tstat.

Your not going to be setting the OR parameters by a smart phone, just the Nest. The SR501-OR will be adjusting the boiler's temp by monitoring the outdoor temp.

    Internet enabled control

I wonder how difficult it is to prevent that Nest (of vipers) from constantly playing with the temperature settings. I don't believe outdoor reset and night setback play nicely together.

Have a look a Tekmar's website, and see if they don't have an internet enabled boiler control. At least you would only have to be talking to one tech help department when you are setting it up.--NBC
