Main Steam Trap

Main steam trap on main return before the condensate pump.

Any ideas about servicing or a replacement?

    Going with gravity

If you could modify everything to be gravity-fed, you would be much better off, than with a condensate tank, and master trap. Then there would be no mechanical components to require maintenance.

The only systems requiring condensate tanks/pumps would be those spread out over several separate buildings, served by 1 boiler.--NBC

That's not the usual Webster trap

Is this part of a larger system that serves several buildings from a single boiler or single set of boilers?
