skimming T installation

Greetings; I am installling a new Utica steam boiler with two taps; Sorry for the simplicity of the question.  Can the skimming T be installed on either the left or right tap?

    Before installing

    look inside the casting and make sure the bottom of the tee is above the bottom of the section nipples.  I know it is not on Dunkirks and it may not be on yours.  If it isn't,you need to use a bush or reducing tee to move it up so you can skim all the sections.   This is one of those places where the manufacturer's directions are often wrong.
