Converting Crown Boiler

Member Posts: 144
I'm going to convert a Crown CT3 boiler in a building I own. Two wholesalers have quoted me a Wayne P265FBB with conversion kit. Since not alot of oil is used in my area I have no experience in conversions.I'd like opinions on this burner and others.

Not a good choice
the Freeport CT boilers come with Beckett AFG or Riello burners, which can develop the static air pressure needed to fire the boiler. That Wayne burner can't do this as far as I know. I'd use a Carlin EZ-Gas or Riello gas burner. All Steamed Up, Inc.
