2nd floor flood

I have a customer that is on a job where two adjoining rads are "constantly puking water". He claims the other two rads on the same floor are fine, and the 1st floor are also doing well. These two are on the same side of the house in adjoining rooms. He replaced the boiler mid fall and also replaced all of the rad vents. He had a little water on the first floor when he first fired the new boiler but everything subsided after replacing the vents. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

    Radiator Vents

Hi- Since the radiators have vents I'm assuming this is a 1 pipe steam system. He needs to make sure the inlet valves on the radiators are fully open and that the radiators are slightly sloped towards the steam pipe end as this "encourages" the condensate (water) to return to the boiler.

What make/model vent is he using? If it is a Vari Valve, he may want to change that to a slower vent which also has a float.  The vari valves don't have a float in them to prevent water escaping the vent.  Has the new boiler been skimmed?

    and furthermore

check the pressure while he's at it -- shut off at no more than 2 psi and preferably 1.5
