    That's cute! That tech may have had more luck with his wife's pantyhose. Has known to have worked in a jamb when no belt was available or stuck on the side of the road.

    A pair pantie hose tied tightly around the pulleys will work in a pinch.

    I never heard about pantyhose. The know must be difficult. I was going to suggest the the wire size is too small. And most plumbers don't carry the larger size wire crimps and crimpers in the truck. Would have to go home and get it. The crimp going around the small shiv could be difficult and noisy
