My aquastat l8148a shorted out last night, the blue wire that goes into the board under the relay swich burnt up and off the board. Can I replace that with the aquastat l8148e? And what would cause it to do that?
Any help would be great,
Thank you

The L8148A is
a relay with a 120 volt burner circuit. The L8148E has a 24 volt burner circuit so it can not be used to replace the L8124A.0 -
