Conversion Burner Training

Tim McElwain Member Posts: 4,633
Starting on Monday January 7 and running until Wednesday the 9th I will be conducting training on conversion burner installation, service and combustion testing.

In my career I have installed over 3000 conversion burners of all kind and tested thousands more.

The cost for the three days is $900 and includes a complete manual on conversion burners.

We will actually be firing the burners.

There is still plenty of room to sign up.

    Yes that is correct

using a gas power burner such as a Carlin EZ or Riello or others to convert the oil boiler to gas.

All gas appliances now require a

lined chimney so yes it does occur from time to time.

    Tim, how about

scheduling one of these classes for the summer? It would be a whole lot easier for many of us to come..............

    I ran a class

last summer no one signed up. This is a special class I am doing for a guy from New Jersey who is really hungry to learn the business. He has already been through my one week class and will now do the three day conversion burner and a one day powerpile class. I was trying to perhaps get him some company for the class that is why I posted this. He will also be coming back for a three day Combustion Testing Designed Equipment Class. I love his energy and desire to learn.

    Point taken

but there's some interest in this thread. I'd come up myself, even though we do a lot of conversion-type burners- there's always something new to learn.

What say ye, gentlemen- would you commit to a class, say in June or July?
