relace those gas valves ?

Anybody working on boiler contols, gas valves,gas regulators that have been underwater even though they may have been dried out may still have contaminates inside them. that could cause future failure. I had a job where the boiler rm. flooded due to a defective sump pump. The insurance co.wanted all the above replaced. as well as some of the parts manufactures.

The simple rule is
replace any appliance that has been under water. Replacing parts never works.0 -

I agree, In my case i was referring to a 1050 mbh Peerless cast iron sectional boiler, after completely cleaning burners and sections, I replaced all press.controls, valves, regulators,pilot assy,s , flame safeguard controls and electrical wiring.There was an error rendering this rich post.
