on a vs820a1047: is polarity important on the placement of leads fr th generator to the valve? Also is 600 mv enough to function? new valve, 600 fr generator,pilot looks ok on inpinge, valve wont open!! frustrated over the hill svc tech still working, John THANX

Polarity does not matter
By the way open circuit should be 750 millivolts and no less than 540.0
