Question, I have not seen too much Kitec lately and learned they are gone, with out tearing the house apart are there any remedies to replacing the fittings with other pex fittings?? Like Zurn??

    What is it....

    Used on? If it is for heating you are in good shape...Plumbing w/ certain water conditions.... maybe you need to start again.... It is not a SDR9 tubing.

    It may work w/ the wirsbo pex-Al-pex heating set up but no promises. I looked into this job a few years ago where the modular was from Canada and the BB heat had been roughed-in w/ Kitec.... I never got the job so i never pushed it.

    Fittings...

    Made by Roth and other manufactures that use the same spec will work. We've done it often.
