What do you have
for a system now and what Make and Model of boiler?
Has a heat loss been done on the house?
Have you installed insulation or new windows or any other energy saving procedures?
More important than what make of equipment is the installer who will do the work. Make sure they are doing a heat loss on the house or if steam a measurement of existing radiation. Will they do a combustion test upon completion of the installation. Will they service the unit after it is installed.
A lot of the new Modulating/Condensing equipment requires annual service and in some cases cleaning. Is your contractor going to offer to do those services.
Get some references of previous work the contractor has done and check them out with the BBB.0 -
