Tankless water heaters for hydronic slab heat
Carp
Member Posts: 6
I have always been warned not to use a tank-less water heater for hydronic heating systems. I am not sure why, but I have heeded the warning. I have a new contractor that wants to do this in a residential slab heat job. What are your thoughts please.
Thank you

tankless water.....
heaters are not designed to do this. Its sort of like using a Moped to travel from Boston to Buffalo on I-90. Will you get there...ya but it will not be a fun ride. It wil certainly not give you the most efficient fuel use.0 -
Thanks

Here's an earlier post. If you do a site search, you'll find this has been thoroughly addressed here. Seems like this subject comes up almost weekly.

You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.0
