Is Weben-Jarco, Inc out of business? I am trying to find info on certain boiler and having troubles.

Model # AJHWB.35-1NG. Check out the Serial number on this! S# 64068



This unit is heating a sidearm tank directly. I want to tap solar hot water into the fed of the boiler and need to know what limits it has (flow, temp).

That must have been a very small company

it doesn't appear in the Beacon Boiler Reference or the Hydronic Rating Handbook. It may have been a local manufacturer that never achieved any kind of mass distribution. 



Where are you located? How old is the house, and do you think the boiler was original to the house? Where was Weben-Jarco located?

commercial Boiler

It is being used to heat water for 127 unit apartment building. There are 2 of these types of boilers. They only heat DHW and store it in a auxiliary tank.



I am in Michigan. From what I can gather, these units were installed in 1994. There is no other info. I google, binged, yahooed. Nada!

I think Weben-Jarco were single circuit copper tube. If so, flow rate is critical. You should have differential pressure gage on each boiler and keep a log. Solar heat can be applied to cold water supply which should be to tank, not to boilers.

I did get that info off google also. But the number is disconnected and the website in pretty much none functional. I should of mentioned that in my original post so you didn't have to do any fancy foot work.
