I am haviing a rough start on a new 130,000 btu Versa Hydro heater. I tuned the heater using a CO anilyzer and the rough start is still there. Is it true the number I am looking for is 0 to 20 ppm on high fire, that seams low? Thanks for any help, mike

You should use
a combustion analyzer not a CO detector. With that said CO is low as a lot of these new units run at around 100 PPM. I am on the road so I do not have the manual handy for the Versa.0 -
I looked up
the I and O manual and found the following:
Low Fire 8.5% to 9.5
the I and O manual and the following is required:
Low Fire 8.5% to 9.5% CO2 CO 0 to 10 PPM
High Fire same CO2 CO 0 to 20 PPM.0 -
Pink Lady
Thet usually send the single prong LP ignitor with the unit.
They are now shipping the pink ignitor as standard for both LP an NG
It smoothes out the ignition as it sparks to the burner.
I like high 8's Co2 on low and low 9's on high0
