I have steam radiator heat. My gas is blowing but psi gauge says zero. I never noticed it before. Is this normal? Thank you very much.

    normal, that is.  Though you'd also probably have better luck with this one over on the steam section of the wall.



    Generally speaking, steam heat does not build pressure until all the vents are closed; if the system is properly sized, that means that on most heating cycles it won't build pressure at all.



    Second, the pressure gauge you are looking at is probably the code or insurance required 0 to 30 psi gauge.  A properly set up steam system will never build over 2 psi, and shouldn't -- and the chances are that the gauge won't read that at all.
