hi,  begining plumber just getting into hydronics .in book pumping away pg96 dan said make your takoofs to the zones from the bottom instead of from the top of the manifold.cant picture that unless manifold was pointing down like a pitchfork ? thanks for any info

    I'm not looking at the book at the moment, but he's probably referring to making a heat trap to prevent ghost flow.
