Roy Willis, president and CEO of the Propane Education & Research Council, spoke this week at the official opening of an Arro Autogas propane autogas refueling station at a Mobil in Ontario, Calif. Arro, a subsidiary of Delta Liquid Energy, sponsored the opening with Clean Cities, a division of the Department of Energy.
The event featured a tour of the refueling site, a demonstration of the autogas refueling process with a Roush CleanTech shuttle van, and a question-and-answer session with Willis and Curtis Martin, Antelope Valley Clean Cities program coordinator. Others attending the event included Bill Platz, CEO of Delta Liquid Energy; Brad Beauchamp, Roush CleanTech; Floyd Clark, fire chief of Ontario; Jack Cunningham, representing the office of U.S. Rep. Joe Baca; and a number of local officials.

Arro Autogas plans to open this year about a dozen of the autogas refueling stations at conventional gas stations in Southern California. The Ontario station is near the Los Angeles-Ontario International Airport and serves shuttle bus fleets and airport trucks.
