GB 142 head loss

Options
I scanned the Buderus GB I and O manual, and can't seem to find the listed head loss of the heat exchanger. Does anyone have this info for  a GB 142/24?

    can't find it either..

Scoured everything I have, cant find it.  The only thing I can come up with is..Grunfos UPS 15-58, speed one, give you a 26 deg delta T, with no notes for speeds 2, or 3.

    I've

only seen one manufacturer provide that info, and I can't remember if it was Munchkin or Dunkirk.

    If Memory Serves Me Correctly...

    It's 11ft. at a 30* Delta T.

Buderus and other manufacturers usually don't give the info because they require you to use their pri/sec manifold, LLH, etc.

Just curious, why you would want to know?

    Paul48,

Lochinvar gives it with the Knight and requires the installer to calculate it with the piping scheme they choose to employ.

That's one of really nice things about the wall hung Knight with the new fire tube heat exchanger: almost no head loss.

More Like on a "Need to Know" basis

I think someone in tech support could give it to you.

As far as the literature goes, it looks like the Germans only give us what they think we need to know.

I've attached the applications manual which spec's the circ they recommend for each indirect/boiler combo they offer.
