Conversions:
You may not be able to.
You must check with the manufacturer to see if possible and if they offer it, get a conversion kit and have it converted by a
QUALIFIED service technician, experienced with the product.
Don't find your neighbor who has a friend to do it.
I would not do it for you.0 -
VF field conversions?
Ventfree gas appliances are NOT field convertible. That would void the warranty and listing. You must order a separate appliance set up by the factory for the alternative fuel.0 -
Thanks Bob
and I can tell you from a recent converstion with one of the local stove company owners some plumbing contractors are not aware of that and will convert the unit as it is being purchased sometimes on line and the plumber called to connect it up and convert it. NOT A GOOD THING.0
