Hello All
As you can see the picture below, the vertical pipe that connect to the main steam vent is not insulated.My question is can I insulate this pipe in order to save the energy?Thanks for your answer.

Eh, why not?
won't save much, but can't hurt. Assuming the rest of your mains are all insulated first!Br. Jamie, osb

main or at least one of your main vents. It looks small. It should be upsized to a better/ faster vent... Gorton #1.0 -

don't insulate that 1/2" or 3/4" pipe that connects the vent to the elbow.0
