Blower Motor reliability (MTBF)

Can anyone give me an idea of the reliability of a 1/4 HP blower motor in a Lennox electric furnace, i.e. an MTBF number, seat-of-the-pants experience, etc...?
If a relay failed to open and shut it down, and it ran continuously for a couple weeks, would this over-stress the motor and likely shorten it's life...?
Also, any guesses how much shorter the life of a recent replacement motor might be in comparison to the 30-year-old original...? (Replacement is from Lennox, but made in China, like everthything else...)
Thanks...!

If it isn't broke don't fix it
I have a GE Warm Air Furnace vintage the 1950's with the original GE Motor never been changed. It runs like a charm, some old motors are very forgiving.0
