Heil main burner

Hello,

I own a Heil Gas Furnace sold by SEARS. It is a NHGI060KF04, SEARS nr. 867 762564. I need to replace the main burners, where the flame comes out, as they're falling apart.

SEARS no longer sells what I need to repair this furnace. Is it possible to replace just the burners or do I need to by the entire main assembly?

Also, I live in a town that owns it's own electric company so electricity is relativley cheap compared to natural gas. Would I be better off just replacing this furnace with an electric one? Is there a handy online calculator that could help me with this decision?

Thanks!

George

I have a form with the calculations you are looking for as a cost comparison for natural gas, propane, oil or electricity.
