Burnham PVG6NI Whistling Noise

I have a Burnham PVG6NI gas fired boiler. This is a power vent unit. When the t-stat calls for heat, the inducer fan starts up and I hear a whistling noise. This continues even after the gas lights, but seems to subside once the unit gets hot. I have replaced the fan gasket, but that did not help. I have also disconnected (momentarily) the exhaust ductwork, but the whistiling persists, so I know it is being caused inside the boiler itself.
Anyone know what could be causing this (or experienced and repaired this themselves)? Thanks

Try spraying a little
WD-40 on the fan blade.0 -
Fan
Thanks for the suggestion. The noise is not the fan itself. Take the fan out and the fan (while it is running) does not make this noise.
Any other thoughts??0 -
Check your inlet and
outlet gas pressure.
Have a combustion analysis done on the unit and insure you are firing the equipment at its maximum firing rate.0
