Finally piping the header

Options
Well, I've been putzing with my system and now that winter is just around the corner I'm finally getting around to repiping the near boiler sections. To any that have been following the http://www.heatinghelp.com/forum-thread/136523/guts-of-a-marsh-boiler-return-trap-with-pics Here's an inprogress photo of the soon to be new header. (the rusty fittings are just because our basement flooded 2 weeks ago, and some of the fittings that I had laid out ready to go did not get moved to the second floor, had a lot of other things to "save")

Try WD-40 on the rusty fittings . Keep up the great pipework !

    Lookin good Dee!

Is that 2" coming out of the boiler, then dropping into a 3" header?

    Looking good!

    I'm jealous,

I'm so far from being able to pipe my boiler in right now its scary. I probably won't be to that point for another 3 weeks.

I have a question that will surely make me look dumb but thats ok. What are the two pressuretrols for?

    different animals

One is a ptrol, and 1 is a vaporstat, not a dumb question at all...I just needed to have lower pressure control than the ptrol could give me. I have the ptrol wired to act as a high limit switch in case the vaporstat ever fails. The 2 gauges are the required 30 psi gauge and a low pressure gauge to monitor the vaporstat.

    yep

I wanted to get the driest steam I could, and allow for all the condensate to have room to drain without slowing down the steam. Just hard to come by 3" fittings around here but I finally found a place, they can thread for me too, which is great since I can only thread to 2" with my equipt.
