I'm looking to install a conversion burner in my own house. My choice of burners is either a Carlin Ez gas or a Midco EC-200. Does anyone have any experience with which is more reliable and which is easier to service-
thanks

Both are about the same
However if you contact Carlin they will match up the burner to the boiler for you and ship it all set up other than fine tuning with a combustion analyzer.
I assume you are experienced with installing conversion burners and are in the trade, is that correct? If not hire a pro!
What is the information on your existing installation?0 -
current boiler info
Hi Tim
Right now. I have a riello oil burner 1.10 nozzle pump pressure at 140 psi so 1.25 gph equivelent. Its on a peerless jot 175w. Tankless coil in boiler as well. so would like input to be simliar like 175k btu input. never had a problem with heat or hot water supply in 11 years I live here so happy with that input.
My concern is not to run into problems in mid winter cause local plumbing supply has no parts for it.
Thanks
Joe0
