Fault Code E 8 on Triangle Tube Challanger

in Gas Heating
Installed Triangle Tube Chalanger LP converted unit 6 weeks ago.  Owner called with no hot water.  Unit was off on safety with error code 8 displayed.  Reset unit fired right up ran no problems.  Anyone had trouble with this code.  Thank you

    E-8 indicates

    a problem with fan speed. It may have had some voltage problems if brown out occurring in the area.



    Typical problems with E-8 code



    1. The fan getting bound up on the casing then freeing up



    2. Wiring getting caught between fan and casing



    3. Poor contact with wires



    If it persists replace the fan.



    The fact that it started up is good indication it is okay and was just a temporary glitch.
