Has anyone installed any of those new GV90+?

I think I like them already! They still want P/S piping.

I just want to hear others thoughts.

    They have

    a primary pump as well as an injection pump to protect the CI boiler already installed. You can pump through them in certain applications. Why not just use a real condensing boiler?

    The GV90+

    IS a real condensing boiler. It uses a stainless-steel recuperator to condense, and the main HX is cast-iron.



    Trouble is, they do not list any non-PVC venting options in the I&O manual for that unit.

    The GV 90 is still the same

    Gold Series 4 with the recuperator added to get a higher efficiency. All the controls are the same as on the original Gold Series. They require AL294C venting.

    GV90+ venting

    The GV90+ can be vented with PVC. Link below for manual. See pgs 32 and 33 for info.

    I had not had a chance to retract my AL29$C statement. I read the manual and yes PVC is listed.

    The SS venting method

    looks like an afterthought in this manual. All of the diagrams show PVC venting- not too encouraging to those of us who are wary of PVC for venting.
