Looking to buy a Leak detector. Just curious who out there likes what ones on the market. There are to many to choose from!

Leak Detector
I've always liked my yellow jacket detector. Been reliable for many years.0 -

H - 10
I've used the G.E./ Yokogawa H-10 for over 30 years and have never seen any other as accurate or as good at picking up small leaks. On more than one occasion, I've seen my mechanics search in vain for leaks with other brands and then had my H-10 pick up the leak in seconds where the others showed nothing.
I have two other brands on my truck (one is an ultra-sonic), but they very rarely see day light.
I have two other senior mechanics who work with me (each has 40+ years experience) and they both have H-10's and would tell the same story.Bob Boan
You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.0 -
D-Tek
Most of my colleagues have D-Tek Selects for 22 and 410 and work will with no failures. One guy still has his H10 which we found to be slightly more sensitive when we played with both together.0 -
