union elbow

I have 100 year old cast iron radiators. A 1" elbow on one of them has cracked. It appears to be a combination of a union and an elbow. Is this type of elbow still available and where might I look for one?

    It depends...

on what is in the elbow!  Some vapour systems had various devices -- little balls, orifices, multiple orifices, etc. in there -- so one would need to know just what it was one was replacing.

This question, though, might get more responses under "strictly steam"...

    There's nothing

in the elbow. It's just a 90 degree turn in the pipe from the radiator going down through the floor. I took your advice and posted this on Strictly steam also. Thanks.
