Type # L101AX3X5 ??? I'm told I need to replace this, but searching google isn't helping me find one. Any suggestions?

That is a very old Series 10
control. Series 10 controls have been obsolete and no longer available for many years. Exactly what is it controlling, the "L" first letter tells me it is a limit on as you say a warm air furnace. What is the Make and Model of the furnace. Is their a fan control on this unit? The reason I am asking is if so we may have to recommend replacing both the limit and fan switch and install a Honeywell L4064 Fan/Limit combination control. A picture or two of your setup would help.0
