I live in a town home and share a boiler for heat. Three floors, 5 base board heating radiator things and 1 thermostat on main floor. I woke one morning and the heat was off. The thermostat said 60* and was still set to heat to 76*. The base board heating was cold. Short story... maintenance said "i see nothing wrong, no air in lines or leakes". It has shut off 8-9 time know. The setting of 76* is know 84* (if below it will not turn heat on). please help.

Thermostat?
Was the thermostat checked? If the system heats OK when it's turned up like that, then the stat is out of calibration. The serviceman may have checked the boiler and found it running OK but overlooked the stat.Bob Boan
You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.0
