How not to pipe a cast iron boiler

I went to see this large condo that wants a stanby steam boiler of 3,000,000 BTU in case the first one goes on the blink. It is a Dunham vacum system with the controller still working, a Smith 28A boiler working at 10 PSI! Notice the nice piping arrangements! They have had one leak already. BTW, the burner is on/off not even two stage.
