Hi,
We are remodeling a bathroom and had to remove a radiator. We drained the system, removed the radiator, capped off the pipes and then went to refill the system while the remodel goes on. Then there was trouble... We can't get it to build pressure nor fill the system. Could someone lay out the steps to fill the system again? We have researched all over and haven't had any luck.

Sounds like a series system.
Your radiators are probably piped in series. Meaning the water travels though each of the radiators one after the other and then back to the boiler. If you just capped off the lines, then the water no longer has a path back to the boiler, it is stopping at the cap.
You will probably have to bridge the gap left by the radiator.
I am assuming that this is a hot water system?
If so then bridge the gap with a piece of pipe. If that doesn't work or this is a steam system, then it is time to call a professional.0
