Exhaust Cleanrance

We are going to install a gas fired forced air system in my office. We want to direct the exhaust to the exterior. The office is on the ground floor on a corner of an existing building. Above are numerous floors of apartments. Where can i find the exhaust clearances from the side walk and windows terminating out a wall? The building is in the Bronx, N.Y. Thanks

Manufacturer's Installation Instructions..
Are the place to look. Every code that I'm familiar with defers to them.Bob Boan

Be Careful!
Direct Vent vs. Mechanical Vent mean two different clearances. Direct Vent (2) Pipe allows for 1ft away from windows, door, etc. Single Pipe Direct Vent is now up to 3 or 4 ft. Inside corners also present a unique concern in and of itself. I can go on and on about fresh air intake concerns as well. I agree with a previous poster, check the install instructions, but New York has some pretty stringent guidelines. Local Codes take precedence. There was an error rendering this rich post.
