Gravity fed water system?

Had a service call the other day for a boiler service(clean etc..) noticed there was no circ pump and seemed as though the pressure was very low,yet everything was working fine? Date on it was 1964,obviously talked them about a new system.
Instead of possibly screwing something up,I tried to seek more info before adding more water,so I removed burner assembly and clean etc..go through check list.
Can anyone explain operating pressure and basically how this system works?
Thanks for any help

Gravity System
Go to the "Systems" tab above. Then click on "Hot Water", then click on "Gravity Systems".Bob Boan
You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.0
