Indrect Water Heater Pex-al boiler supply line
heathead
Member Posts: 237
Is their any reason that I am not thinking of when wanting to use Pex-al to go from boiler to indirect hot water heater. The heater needs to be put about 30 feet away and copper is getting pricey. I know it is better to have less distance but homeowner wants it where their old heater was. Thanks

Pex-Al-Pex...
Is fine on any hydronic line.
I don't know what the difference would be on the s.s. tank vs. the stone lined, I've used both. Water hardness would effect the coil with scaling in either case.Bob Boan
You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.0
