Reverse Threads on Wall mounted radiator

I have a two section ornate wall mount radiator that I bought and had sandblasted. One side of the radiator has reverse threads,( by that I mean you turn left to tighten) I assume that is so that sections can be joined with one fitting. Well I cut out the lower reverse threaded plug hoping to buy a 1 1/2 reverse threaded bushing with regular threaded 1/2 for my hot water system. My local plumbing supply store did not have it and did not know where to get it. First, reverse outer and regular inner is what I am looking for correct? And seconds there a place that anyone knows of that would sell something like this, either via an online store, or by calling and having the part shipped?

Re: left hand thread bushing
I have had to have them made by machine shop. Not too painful but the most single expensive pipe fitting you will probably ever buy. Tim0 -
Re: left handed bushing
Thanks tim. I thought I might have to go that route, I just wanted an easier way out. I am in for 160 bucks for the radiator, sandblasting, fittings etc, so it WILL be put into service0 -
There was an error rendering this rich post.
