Cwl series boiler from thermodynamics

I came across a Thermodynamics gas conversion boiler series CWL-GS. It was installed without any draft hood or damper. It is not a direct vent or induced draft boiler. I called the rep and he said to install a double swing barometric damper for gas. I have never heard of such a thing. Any advise???

    Are you a professional

heating technician? If not then it would be best to hire one to install the double swing barometric which is the only one that can be used on gas.

If you are a pro then go to your local heating supply company and I am sure they will hook you up with what you need.

If the boiler is an atmospheric boiler which gets all its air from within the room in which it is installed with out the use of any motorized air supply then the barometric has to be installed into a bull tee which will dump directly into the boiler room on a downdraft or reverse chimney.

If it is a power gas conversion burner you can locate it pretty much like you would locate a single swing barometric used on oil.
