Themostat and vent rites
I put in a new thermostat last night. I talked with a Honeywell support person for a few minutes, who had to call me back. He had no idea what I meant my reducing the heating cycles to 2. He did call back with two model numbers: 221B and 2300B.
I got the 2300B as it has a 5-2 program. Installed it last night. This morning I found 9 of 9 radiators on and the ones in BR3 and the office hotter than we have ever seen them! BR3 is almost acceptable as is; office still needs more heat.
So, thus far, the additional venting of the mains combined with the correct thermostat has worked wonders!
The Vent rites came in today's mail and have been put onto all of the radiators except the bathroom. Access to the bathroom vent is tight. I will see how things go and then change it if needed.
Settings:
LR between 1-2
DR between 1-2
BR1 between 1-2
Bath--varivlave 1/2 open
BR2 2
Br3 3
office 4
attic center 3
attic Br 3
I will let you know tomorrow what things look. I also still need to get to adding the gauge to the boiler as recommended, maybe next weekend for that.
Thanks again to everyone for helping.0
