in THE MAIN WALL
Does anybody know if any manufacturers of pex al pex use the standard crimp ring system? It appears most recomend their own tools and fittings rather than the more generic fittings available for plumbing or standard oxygen barrier pex.

    Pex-Al-Pex is larger in diameter than pex. You have to use fittings listed for it. All the brands that I've used are made to the same spec. so the pipes and fittings were inter-changeable.
