Is B&G having problems with there Series 60 pumps Had a new pump today not turn . Played with it for a while the only,way it work, was to loosen the bolts till it leaked . I slowly tighten the bolts leak stopped ,so did the motor. Tried everything ,now have to do it all over Monday. The salesman will give me a new pump , I asked him if he was working today for free , because I did .

We Quit...
Stopped using B&G pumps for the same reason - defective out of the box. Look at the tag: they are made in China. Grunfos or Taco are much better.Bob Boan

Incorrect
The Series 60 IS NOT made in China. Look at the box again. The ENTIRE line of Bell & Gossett pumps are made here with the exception of the wet rotor pump (NRF Series - China) and the stainless 3530 pressure booster (Italy).
