Is B&G having problems with there Series 60 pumps Had a new pump today not turn . Played with it  for a while the  only, way it  work, was to loosen the bolts till it leaked . I slowly tighten the bolts leak stopped ,so did the motor. Tried everything ,now have to do it all over Monday. The salesman will give me a new pump , I asked him if he was working today for free , because I did .

    We Quit...

Stopped using B&G pumps for the same reason - defective out of the box. Look at the tag: they are made in China. Grunfos or Taco are much better.

    Incorrect

The Series 60 IS NOT made in China.  Look at the box again.  The ENTIRE line of Bell & Gossett pumps are made here with the exception of the wet rotor pump (NRF Series - China) and the stainless 3530 pressure booster (Italy).

Jim, you could have called me.
